The hardware specifications of the HTC U23 remain very similar to those of the Pro model. The display is always a 6.7-inch OLED with FHD + resolution and a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, the 32MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture remains the same as well as the processor is still a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
Obviously, there are differences. Let’s start with the memory that only provides a version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage via microSD slot. It also changes the rear camera that has a 64 MP main sensor, an ultra wide-angle camera with 8 MP sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The 8MP macro sensor is missing.
To complete the hardware specifications, a side-mounted fingerprint recognition sensor, IP67 certification, 4600 mAh battery with support for 30W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, dual SIM card slots, 3.5″ audio jack and support for 5G SA/NSA networks as well as Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC
Of course, HTC U23 also comes pre-installed with the VIVERSE app and is compatible with the Vive XR Elite mixed reality headset. VIVERSE is an open platform for virtual and augmented worlds and environments developed by HTC, conceived as a metaverse.
