Microsoft presents Surface Studio 2+, an unprecedented desktop solution that replaces the previous Model Studio 2 without distorting it. After all, the same name chosen by the Redmond company shows that this is not a real generational leap, but rather a refinement compared to the product launched four years ago.

Design and productivity remain at the heart of the all-in-one PC, which also in this case provides a large 28-inch PixelSense touch display with support for the Surface Pen that can be raised or lowered through the elegant and functional Zero Gravity Hinge. Surface Studio 2+ arrives on the market with Windows 11 Pro installed, under the body Microsoft has opted for a conservative choice by inserting an 11th generation Intel Core processor.
The company delivers a CPU 50% faster than Studio 2 and five times the overall machine power of the original Surface Studio in 2016. Performance also doubled on the graphics side (vs. Surface 2) with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU. It also completes the variety of ports on the back including USB-C with Thunderbolt 4. Particular attention has been given to audio and video quality with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for the enjoyment of multimedia content, as well as security with advanced solutions, including facial recognition through Windows Hello.
Microsoft announces that Surface Studio 2+ has been designed to be modular, so replacing its components should not be particularly difficult. Among the parts that can be changed we mention the display, motherboard, power supply and SSD.
