Mercedes is working on the development of the restyling of the GLB whose current generation was presented in 2019. So, for this model the time is approaching to receive an update. There will be, however, no upheavals but only a refinement to the design to give a refresh to the look of this model. Now, a restyling forklift has been intercepted on German roads during a series of tests.
The spy photos gave the opportunity to take a look at the novelties that the German brand will introduce.
SMALL TWEAKS
The images show the car with a slight camouflage, concentrated at the level of the front and rear light clusters. These are the areas of the car that will be reviewed. From what can be observed, it seems that small changes will come to the shapes of the headlights, the bumper and the grille. Behind, however, for the optical groups should come a new graphics.
You can also expect the introduction of new body colors, as well as alloy wheels with a new design. In addition, it is possible that Mercedes may also have intervened with some changes to the chassis and set-up to improve the driving dynamics of its GLB.
As for the interior, there are no photos of the passenger compartment. However, one can imagine that a technological update will come with the introduction of the latest generation of the MBUX platform. Some changes to the console and center tunnel may also be introduced. In addition, new coatings should be made available.
Speaking of engines, however, no particular news should arrive. The current units should be confirmed. It may be, however, that Mercedes has worked to optimize their operation to lower fuel consumption and emissions. The AMG version should also remain available. There should also be no lack of news regarding driver assistance systems.
When could the restyling of the Mercedes GLB be presented? There is no precise date yet but we are talking about 2023. So, all that remains is to wait for more information on the development of this car.
