Xbox Game Pass June: the summer schedule is enviable!

by Andrew

After a month of May particularly full of news about Game Pass, Microsoft returns with a month of June that prepares for the Summer Game Fest. We’re only a few hours away from kick-off, so expect a slew of announcements and quite a few integrations in the coming weeks. In the meantime, some nice titles are planned for this month of June, the first of the summer. Here’s the list of games that will be joining Xbox Game Pass over the next couple of weeks:

As announced earlier in the day, the two Octopath Traveler games are (finally) coming to Xbox and landing on Microsoft’s service at the same time. The franchise is a must-have for those who love JRPGs with multiple, intertwined stories. This arrival is a pleasant surprise for subscribers who did not expect such news.

The rest of the month is not devoid of interesting things. The horror game The Callisto Protocol will immerse players in a prison on Jupiter’s moon, populated by absolutely frightening humanoid monsters. The two chapters of the SteamWorld Dig saga are also added to the catalog. Football fans will be able to leave their Euro 2024 viewing sessions to play fast-paced games that EA Sports FC 24. Finally, subscribers will be able to discover the indie game Still Wakes the Deep on the day of its release.

Microsoft announces arrivals, but also departures. In May, there are a lot of them compared to the upcoming matches. On June 30, we will have to say goodbye to these few titles that we will have enjoyed during their presence.

FIFA 22 (Console & PC)
F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Stranded Deep (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (Cloud, Console, and PC)

How to play all these games?
As a reminder, Xbox Game Pass is a subscription-based service offered by Microsoft on Xbox and PC. It’s available for £10.99 per month for standard access on consoles and £9.99 on PC, which gives you access to a large library of games that is regularly renewed. For £14.99, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also gives you access to the cloud and the EA Play game library. Finally, Xbox Game Pass Core, which includes more than 35 games and access to online multiplayer, is available at the ultra-competitive price of €6.99 per month.
