In a bid to break paradigm shift,Japanese auto maker Toyota has introduced portable hydrogen cartridges.
Global automaker Toyota looks to the future of how our cars will be powered. In the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2024, the company exposed the portable hydrogen cartridges which will offer another form of power for hydrogen fuel cell electric automobiles.
A new source of energy for vehicles is reviewed
Simply in looks, these hydrogen cartridges resemble slightly over-sized AA batteries. These devices connect into your car or anything else that uses electricity. After that, they can be refilled with a new cartridge to continue functioning of your device, if necessary.
An incentive to other car manufactures
The problem is that almost no one is producing vehicles that run on hydrogen. But, a less complicated method of refueling a hydrogen car (such as the Toyota concept cartridge) might push other auto makers into the HCVs in the future.
Non-automotive use of the theory
Amazingly it’s not just for cars, Toyota has said that these cells are for powering your home or direct cooking. Well, Toyota and Rinnain Corporation have come up with a cooker concept that does exactly that and the following image might just make you green with envy.
We are not still very close to using these cartridges in our cars and homes, but Toyota has intended to collaborate with firms in order to release them. The receiver, in this case, must find how it aligns with the technologies and ideas of the several companies and start-ups it came across, the company said in a press release.
