Copilot for Microsoft 365 users can now take advantage of the advanced capabilities of GPT-4 Turbo chat, the large language model that already powers the AI-powered assistants Copilot Pro and Copilot for Windows.
In conjunction with this update, we’ve removed limits on the number and length of conversations, and increased the number of files that can be uploaded. In addition, by the end of the month, the offer relating to the creation of images through Microsoft Designer will also be enhanced.
Thanks to the GPT-4 Turbo model, the most advanced of its kind in OpenAI’s stable, Copilot for Microsoft 365 can answer the user’s questions in detail and can help them in the workplace thanks to the ability to collect up-to-date and detailed information both from the network and from documents such as chats, emails, documents and contacts. And it is capable of working on 300 pages loaded in a single prompt, ensuring a high capacity for analyzing any type of text. All of this is secured, at least on paper, by enterprise-grade data protection.
As for improvements to generating images through Microsoft Designer for Copilot for Microsoft 365 subscribers, the limit on the number of images that can be generated in a day will be raised from 15 to 100 later this month. All with the promise of reduced wait times thanks to OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 model.
Integrated into Teams, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and other apps of the Microsoft service successor to Office, Copilot for Microsoft 365 has a monthly cost of 28.10 euros and is available through the dedicated website, the Edge browser, Windows and the Copilot application for mobile devices. Currently, the new features are being rolled out for the web version. They will also be implemented in other versions of the software at a later date.
