Airbnb’s Co-Host Network: New Concept In Management Of Properties
Today being just an Airbnb host is becoming a thing of the past. The Co-Host Network is a device that the platform has unveiled to enable owners employ other hosts to help manage their rental units. This change is intended to facilitate the management of rentals: which are challenging since clients are usually high maintenance, prices constantly fluctuate; and markets are oversaturated.

Guideline on how Co-Host works
How exactly does it work? Tenants are also able to look for other hosts within the network and contract them to manage or maintain their property/ies. All the essential tasks can be resolved by hired hosts, including list-making, pricing and availability, sweeping and maintenance, as well as guest relations.

Such co-hosts for a better shot
But it should be understood, that not every host can become a co-host. For Airbnb, they have to be well rated and local. In fact, only hosts with an availability score greater than or equal to 4.8 and with at least ten previous stays have been incorporated into the network. The targeting of actual and potential co-host: Potential co-hosts can have their own service rates which they post on their profile page. In their own report Airbnb says that over 10,000 individuals have already signed up in the network from countries like Australia, Brazil, France, Mexico and United States.

The relation of the Co-Host Network and its implications on the Real Estate Industry
It is possible to build it into a new interface for huge players with hundreds of properties within the platform. Such situations are not wholly undesirably since such mega-hosts have been thought to be more reliable for guests. It could even strengthen people’s belief that Airbnb is making neighborhoods lifeless, emptyrefererences. Judson Coplan, the Airbnb’s vice president of product marketing shared with TechCrunch that “We’ve had hosts requesting to be able to use other professional and trusted co-hosts in the region.”
